This course will review different types of vascular dementias that include Alzheimer’s disease and how diagnosis is made using clinical and lab data. It will include clinician-friendly assessments and exercises using different tools to measure global cognition that including the Mini Mental State Exam (MMSE), Montreal Cognitive Assessment (MoCA) and St. Louis Mental Status (SLUMS).
