During this talk we will discuss the literature supporting the role of plant-based diets in reducing cancer incidence and improving outcomes after a diagnosis of cancer. We will review dietary components and mechanisms that impact cancer development, highlight new areas of research and discuss the international cancer nutrition guidelines.
